     Hill and Hill, Attorneys at Law, is a husband-wife team of criminal defense/family law attorneys.  We have the education, experience, and knowledge that will help you navigate the complicated and confusing ways of the justice system.  Gina Brock Hill is a graduate of the University of North Texas and the University of Texas School of Law.  Since being admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1992, she has assisted hundreds of people charged with crimes to resolve their criminal cases.  She has defended almost every type of criminal case including murder, rape, DWI, Assault-family violence, aggravated assault, theft, as well as drug possession, manufacturing and distribution.  In addition to her experience as a criminal defense attorney, she was employed as a prosecutor for over five years and represented the State of Texas in well over  one hundred felony and misdemeanor jury trials.  Brent Hill was employed as a prosecutor for over three years in the Cooke County Attorney's Office and the Cooke County District Attorney's office.  Mr. Hill has prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor cases.  The Hills know how the judicial system works from both sides.  In addition to practicing criminal law, both Gina Brock Hill and Brent Hill previously represented Child Protective Services in removal and termination cases and presently represent both parents and children in CPS cases.  In 2004, CASA, Court Appointend Special Advocates, of Denton County presented Brent Hill with the award of "Attorney Ad Litem of the Year" for his reprensentation of both parents and children in CPS termination cases.
